ScanJet Pro 3000 S4 A4
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I need some information that I haven't been able to find in the product specifications.

In connection with a research project, I need to investigate whether there exists an ADF scanner that can do the following simultaneously:

  • Scan at 600 DPI
  • Scan in full color
  • Scan a full A4 page
  • Scan using the ADF function
  • Output the file in one of the following file formats: TIF, BMP, or RAW

I have had access to Canon scanners that, in theory should be able to do this, but haven't allowed it. Therefore, I would like to ask if the ScanJet Pro 3000 S4 A4 (or other scanners from HP) meet the criteria above?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I've read the product specifications 🙂 but the issue is:
I've tried with scanners of other brands, whose product specifications also allowed for each of the requirements individually,- However, they wouldn't allow for either: color scanning at 600 DPI, scanning full pages at 600 DPI, or outputting to TIFF/BMP format at 600 DPI.

I've tried quite a few scanners at this point, so I was hoping someone who has a ADF-Scanner from HP could test that functionality 🙂
