Product: HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer

From my new HP laptop, I can send items to be printed on my 8610.  However, when I try to send a scanned document to laptop, 8610 doesn't list my laptop.

 

I have spent too many days trying to resolve this, and am going crazy. I keep thinking it has to be a simple fix, but haven't found it yet.
