scan to comptuer doesnt work. it will tell me that "scan to computer is no longer available". it had very minor problems when i had the 8710 all in one printer at my office. ever since moving home with it, it doesnt seem to want to access the computer from across the room. it is super frusturating! i dont want to have to use the HP smart app or any other app for that matter. i want to be able to load my documents and scan to computer using the control panel on the printer as i have been doing for the last 3 years. can anyone help me fix the problem?

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are unable to scan to computer from the control panel

 

Please install the HP Full-featured driver to enable the Scan to computer Option.

 

Once the download is completed, follow the onscreen instructions to finish the setup.

 

Enable Scan to computer

 

Open the HP Full-featured software by clicking on the printer icon on the desktop screen or by searching windows for HP Officejet Pro 6968.

 

Search Windows for HP > HP OfficeJet Pro 6968> double click to open the HP Printer assistant > Click on Scan
