Hi @Tamani1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is when scanning suddenly stops working, especially when everything else seems fine and the firmware is up to date. Let’s go through the steps to get your OfficeJet Pro 9015e scanning again.

Why This Happens

The “Scanning is not available” message usually means:

  • The printer lost its scan service connection with the HP app.
  • A driver or service conflict occurred after an update.
  • Network or Web Services settings need refreshing.

HP Recommended Fixes

1. Restart Devices

  • Power off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Restart your Windows 11 PC.
  • Power the printer back on and wait until it’s fully ready.

2. Check Network & Web Services

  • On the printer’s touchscreen:
    • Tap Setup → Network Settings → Wireless Settings.
    • Confirm it’s connected to the correct Wi-Fi.
    • Enable Web Services (needed for HP Smart scanning).

3. Reset HP App

4. Update Drivers

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
