Hi @COMPUTATOR ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're encountering a misfeed error with the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) on your HP Officejet Pro 8625 printer while using Microsoft Windows 10, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check for Jammed Paper:

  • Open the ADF cover and check for any jammed paper or foreign objects. Carefully remove any obstructions.

Check ADF Rollers:

  • Make sure the ADF rollers are clean and not damaged. Clean the rollers with a lint-free cloth and water if necessary.

Reload the Pages:

  • Remove any pages from the ADF tray and reload them with the print side facing up. Adjust the paper guides to fit the width of the pages.

Check Paper Condition:

  • Ensure that the paper you are using is not damaged, curled, or too thin. Use high-quality paper that meets the specifications recommended for your printer.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This can help reset the printer and clear any temporary issues.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve performance issues.

Adjust ADF Settings:

  • Open the HP Printer Assistant or HP Solution Center on your computer.
  • Click on "Scan," and then click on "Manage Scan to Computer."
  • Adjust the settings related to the ADF, such as paper size and type, to match the loaded documents.

Check for Software Issues:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers are up-to-date. Visit the HP official website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
