How do I add timestamp to scanned document from MFP M426fdw printer?  I'm on Windows 10 (64-bit) operating system.

Hi,

How do you scan to your computer?

 

Using HP Scan? HP Smart? any other option as Scan to Email or a Network folder from the printer screen?

 

Please clarify accordingly, as different scan options are provided with different options,

I use HP Scan to scan to my computer.  Can the date/timestamp be on the scanned document instead of being a filename timestamp?

Hi,

You may add a such to the filename only, not to the scanned document itself.

 

From HP Scan press on More> and select Destination.

Click the File Name drop-down menu and then you may select Date and Time to be added to the filename.

Hi,

The File Name from HP Scan is an input box which I can rename the file.  It does not have a drop-down menu to select Date and Time.  Would HP Smart have Date/Time stamp for the filename?
