Product: photosmart 7520

I have a photosmart 7520 printer and I m on Mac OS 10.15.

When I scan pages using Easy scan from the document feeder the pages are blank.

The scans work fine when I use the normal scanner from the glass.

 

I have seen several topics about this but no real solution.

 

To get around the problem I found this:

-I start scanning the first page from the scanner glass
-When Easy scan asks me if I want to continue scanning I place my pages in the document feeder and click on continue.
-Most of the time it works and the scan of my documents starts normally from the feeder.

Sometimes the first page of the document feeder remains blank but the other documents are scanned correctly...

 

I spent several days looking for a solution. Installing and reinstalling my printer multiple times, trying several versions of Easy scan without success. It's quite incredible that since the time this problem exists, there is no solution brought by HP... But I found this temporary workaround...
