Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Scanned documents are now pixelated/blurry.  Was working fine until a month ago.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried cleaning a document scan feeder?
  • Did you make any changes to your printer? 
  • Are you using HP Smart App? 

Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:
