macOS 10.15 Catalina

So I used my scanner for days. No troubles. Then all of a sudden when I need it to scan, it does 2 pages and stops. It doesnt even load the 2 pages it scanned for viewing? I removed the printer, downloaded the driver again. Still same trouble. I use the scan button on the system and I also use the scan icon from my MAC, no luck. It is not scanning completely basically. It loads 2 pages and does basically nothing. Stops and doesnt show the page loaded?

Which application are you using to scan?

Try making a standalone copy of more than 2 documents and check if that works.

 

Update the printer firmware

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

HP Easy Scan is not yet compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. We're actively working to restore complete functionality. I suggest using HP Smart app or Apple Image capture to scan from your MAC. Kindly refer to this document to know how.
