Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

All of a sudden I can't scan with my Photosmart 7510 (I am still able to print just fine).  I can't scan from the Printer to the Computer, and can't scan using HP Smart application.  HP Smart recognizes my printer and shows all the printer info, but when I try to scan I'm told to go to HP Smart website and log in.  When I try that the website is asking for a Printer Code as if I need to add my printer to my account. This Printer Code is nowhere to be found.

 

I'm curious as to why scanning capability just disappeared, but more interested in just getting it to work again.
