HP Color LaserJet M479fdw

I have a samba share I setup on my raspberry pi

I have a brand new HP Color LaserJet M479fdw I configured to scan to this share with a quick set

When I test the connection I get: Network error. Check the printer's network connection and try again.

My Pi can ping my printer. They are on the exact same network. I even switched my Pi to my wireless for a moment to test them being exactly the same form of connection. When I login to the share from my Windows 10 PC I have to type my password twice. I'm told this is an Active Directory type thing that even though I'm not using it Windows still runs through some steps and some reason manages to ask for the password twice to authenticate. So I guess unrelated but worth mentioning possibly. I've done research for about a half hour but really came across absolutely nothing as to why my printer wouldn't be able to connect.
