Can't change phone number - HP smart account

I signed up for a HP smart account.

But i entered the wrong phone number. 

I followed instructions on how to change account details here

But when I click on my "account" on top right, i only get a "sign out", no "settings". How do I change my phone number?

Also, if i use the HP Smart app to scan, is the scan stored on HP server? or localised on my phone?

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printers - Update Your HP Smart Account Information and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

I followed the above procedure to try and change my phone number in HP Smart, and when I click on the account icon, it does not give me the option to proceed to the settings. It only gives me the option to sign out. I attempted this on both the HP Smart app for windows and through a web browser.

I just want to edit my phone number I typed incorrectly so that someone else isn't receiving any information about my printer. Thank you.
