I am wanting to scan in some music using a music program I've used countless times with the same model of printer I own  in another location.  For some reason my laptop just doesn't see it as a scanner in location2 even though its been linked to the scanner in location1 many times before.    (I have two of these fab printers which has bluetooth and none of the modern ones do so I don't want to upgrade and fiddle with wifi, I like the bluetooth facility, especially for printing)  However this HP Photosmart c309G started trying to take my photo instead of scanning from the platten.  I changed the setting to scanner bed but the programme couldn't find the scanner.   So I tried just seeing if I could scan ordinarily via the 2nd interface software HP released for this printer/scanner (after adobe flash stopped updating and the old one wouldn't work any more).  However as I say, I cannot scan from my pc I can copy from the printer direct, and I can even print using my laptop but not scan.  It's such a pain.  I love this printer scanner, there's nothing wrong with it  even though it is getting old.  Its just some sort of setting or missing software causing me lack of connectivity with the scanner.   Solutions please
