Can't scan

HP Recommended
color laserjet Pro MFP M177fw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

II get a scanner error #22 and  the HP Print and Scan Doctor software give me the Windows (WIA) Scan error.

Hello @TomBrady ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Press key combo "Windows Key + S" enter "service" > click on Service App

> change the Startup type to Automatic for the following services

    • Shell Hardware Detection = ShellHWDetection
    • Print Spooler = Spooler
    • Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) = stisvc

Thank you for your time but those 3 services were already on automatic mode. 😉

I'm still stuck and can't scan. 

HP is not supporting the product anymore and this is the reason I'm reaching to the community.

It is a pain.
