@Deeva513, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Fax Sending Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're encountering the error message “There was a problem connecting with the server. Please try again.” while attempting to send a mobile fax, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check the Network Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to a stable and reliable network. Sometimes, connectivity issues can prevent successful transmission of faxes.

Verify Server Configuration: Ensure that the server details and configuration settings are correctly entered in your fax application. An incorrect server address or port settings might lead to connection problems.

Confirm Authentication Settings: If the fax service requires authentication, ensure that your username and password are entered correctly. Make sure you have the necessary permissions to connect to the server.

Server Busy or Unreachable: The fax server might be busy or temporarily unreachable. In such cases, trying again after a few minutes might resolve the issue.

Contact the Administrator: If the problem persists, you may need to contact your system administrator to verify the server status or check for any network issues that might be affecting fax transmissions.

Check Fax Service Status: Verify if the fax service you're using is operational; sometimes scheduled maintenance or outages can lead to connectivity issues.

Restart Your Device: Occasionally, restarting your device can resolve issues related to connectivity and server communications.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
