Cannot change the HP 9022e printer "ePrint" email address name to be used with Print Anywhere

I cannot change the default name:  xxxxxxxx@hpeprint.com to a name I want, like I did with other HP printers, namely 9010.

I think If I am correct that HP 9022e is an HP+, so I guess there isn't a way to insert a claim code to enable it. It should be automatic. Nevertheless I cannot change the name...

Welcome to the HP English Community --

That is correct:

The Print Anywhere email address for the printer is not meant to be changed.

Print Anywhere does not use the printer email address name as a direct call.

Print Anywhere shares some of the internal structure of the old ePrint tech --

Print Anywhere is not ePrint and is not used in the same way.

Your printer is an HP+ capable printer.

Review - What is HP+

HP+ is not Instant Ink --

HP+ is an optional service contract upgrade that adds a year of Warranty and access to premium printer features.

While there is no cost to accept the contract, HP+ does include requirements and obligations on the part of HP and the customer.

HP+ is not a subscription - it is a change to your contract to use the printer.

Instant Ink is offered when the HP+ contract is accepted and enabled --

Instant Ink is NOT part of the HP+ contract.

Requirements for HP+ printers

This topic describes the requirements for HP+ printers.

Keep the printer connected to the Internet

HP+ printers are cloud-connected devices that must remain connected to the Internet in order to function. The
Internet connection enables the printer to deliver HP+ specific app features and firmware updates.

During setup, you must connect the printer to the Internet using a supported network connection. After setup,
you can print using a USB cable connection, if desired, but the printer must still be connected to the Internet.

Use Original HP cartridges

Original HP cartridges are cartridges manufactured and sold by HP in official HP packaging. If non-Original HP
supplies or refilled cartridges are installed, HP+ printers will not operate as expected.

Have an HP account

Create or sign into an HP account to manage your printer.

Reminder

An HP Instant Ink subscription is not required as part of the HP+ setup or HP+ service.

Regardless of how it sounds or what it looks like, Instant Ink is a separate contract service.
