Hello,

 

I have Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fdw Printer and I am currently very frustrated because I can't find the option of 2 to 2 copies. This printer should have that funtion to create copies that are two sided. All I see currently in the menu is 1 to 1 and 1 to 2 but not 2 to 2. 

 

Is there any way to have this driver installed or have it configured? This is a very expensive printer and I can't believe my cheaper toner printer had more functions than this one.

 

I repeat this is for COPYING not SCANNING!!!! I keep seeing techs responding about scanning and that is not what I want. I want to make 2 sided copies with the 2 to 2 function in the printer.

 

I hope this is clear enough and that someone could assist me.

Ho,

The HP Color Laserjet Pro M283 provide automatic duplex print capabilities only.


duplex scanning or copying functionality is not offered by the printer (aka. ADF duplex).

 

such functionality is offered by higher end HP Laserjet models, not for your printer model.

 

You may find the printer specifications below:

You may place the original on the Flatbed Glass and select 1-sided to 2-sided copy, then follow the prompt to manually load the other side and get the output on both sides, it cannot be done automatically.
