Color laserjet Scan error 22

Help. I get Scan error 22. When re-starting the printer the scan slider is not moving all the way. It just moves a bit back and forth. I assume that the issue is hardware related and I want to have a look at the mechanics under the glass. 
I removed 7 screws around the top cover but it seems like the lid is not possible to dismantle. How do I do it from here?

Hi. I’ve tried that, but it didn’t help. That is why I think the slider get stuck for some reason and want to inspect it. I need instruction to open it up to reach the slider.

I am sorry that this information did not help you.
There are 2 possibilities:

1. you look for an official HP contractor in your area: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center 
   Since the warranty has expired!
   or
2. you search in the internet "m177fw Scan error 22" and find on the "youtube" channel corresponding videos. But with caution. Not every video is suitable!
