Product: HP Officejet 4500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - G510n

Hello, unable to scan on my printer HP Office jet 4500 wireless from my PC HP Pavillion 15. HP Smart does not allow scanning with the printer. What software can I use? Thanks

Full feature software  G-510

 

This is an older scanner and possibly this company has reverse engineered the wireless drivers.  I suspect you need to use USB,  Scanning software for older scanners. This  3rd party solution and requires a license after the trial period

Vuescan works fine, but it seems a bit expensive for only scanning an old scanner. Thanks

yes, and frequently one can get a used scanner for less than their license fee.  I have also seen evidence that key generators to bypass their license contain trojans.
