We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

The copies that I make on my HP DeskJet 2130 are cut off at the top when I position the sheet to be copied over the glass in the appropriate spot.  When I pull the sheet downward, the top is no longer cut off but the bottom is.  How frustrating!

 

I suspect that the paper format is wrong in a setting somewhere, but I can't see any way to change the settings directly on the device.  There is no screen for that.   I've been trying to copy sheets of A4 paper onto A4 copies (I live in Germany).

 

I would greatly appreciate any help.  Thank you!

Please also ensure you load the original in a correct position, load the original print-side down on the right corner of the scanner glass with the top of the page facing to the right and try making a copy.

Hi,

Your printer minimum bottom margin is 14.5mm (1.45cm), the hardware cannot exceed this bottom margin.

 

May that match the cut part of your copy?

 

If this is the scenario and your original exceed this minimum bottom margin you would need to scan the page to your computer as a PDF, then print the PDF by selecting Fit to printer margins from Adobe Reader.

Thanks for helping.

The sheet fits nicely onto the glass without going over the edge on the top or bottom.

The cutoff margin at the top of the copy is definitely far greater than 1.45cm. I can measure it later once I'm back home.

Is there any way to adjust or view the copier settings?
