Document Feeder Always Fails

Everytime I use HP Smart App on my Samsung Galaxy S10e Android Mobile Phone the printer scanner documents feeder, it fails until I select glass the set to A4,is there anyway to have A4 default?

Consider / Try

A4 always default - various checks and adjustment considerations

If the printer is on the network,

If the EWS feature is available on your printer,

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

If applicable, check the Advanced section (at the bottom of the Tray and Paper Management menu)

Click Apply to save changes

If the printer is on the network,

If the EWS feature is available on your printer,

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Copy > Settings > Default Settings / Copy Defaults (wording can vary)
