Out of the blue my document feeder started to jam, although when I remove the document it comes through with ease and nothing seems wrong with the hardware itself.  It is happening every time now. Any thoughts or tips?

Hi @BzyNL8,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing a document feeder jam can be frustrating, but there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to try to resolve the issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e printer:

Inspect for Obstructions: Even if nothing appears wrong at first glance, carefully examine the document feeder area for any small pieces of paper, debris, or foreign objects that may be causing the jamming.

Clean the Document Feeder Rollers: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate on the rollers, causing them to lose traction and leading to jams. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the rollers. Be sure to allow them to dry completely before using the printer again.

Check Paper Quality and Condition: Ensure that you are using the correct type and size of paper for your printer. Low-quality or damaged paper can contribute to feeding issues. Also, make sure the paper is not excessively curled or wrinkled, as this can cause jams.

Adjust Paper Guides: Make sure the paper guides in the document feeder tray are set to the correct width for the paper you are using. Guides that are too tight or too loose can cause feeding problems.

Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes, firmware updates released by HP can address known issues and improve the performance of  the printer. Check for and install any available updates through the printer's control panel or HP's support website. Software and Drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer

Reset the Printer: Power off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and wait for about 60 seconds. Then, reconnect the power cord and power on the printer. This can sometimes clear temporary issues or glitches that may be causing the jamming problem.
