We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Recently my printer has needed resetting when  many Windows 10 updates occur. I had to uninstall and reinstall the printer & drivers this week. Now, the scanning is not working as before and I’m unable to scan multiple pages to create 1 pdf. This has never been a problem before. I always had the option to choose “scan another document.” On my laptop, it opens Windows Fax and Scan. On my desktop, a “WSD” box pops up asking me to choose a program, either “Windows fax and scan application” or “Scan”. I’ve never had to take this step before & it only scans 1 page at at time.

 I'd be happy to assist you!

 

I understand you are unable to scan multiple pages and it comes up with windows fax and scan.

 

 Let's try and uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.

 

--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.

--->Select your HP printer.

--->Select Uninstall.

--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.

--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

--->Click on the Drivers tab.

--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.

--->Select OK.

--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

--->Close Devices and Printers.

 

And then reinstall the printer full-featured drivers from the software and drivers page
