I own a Color Laser Jet Pro M252dw.  Because I am working from home I sometimes need to scan documents. Does my printer have scanning function?  If yes, how do I access and use it?

No,

This is a single-function color printer only, it doesn't offer any copy or scan capabilities.

 

You may find its specifications listed below:

As your HP printer doesn't have a scanner, you may use the HP Smart app to scan from a smartphone using its camera, this may allow some basic capabilities as a workaround:

Under Step 3: Print, scan, and copy, see the Scan using your mobile device camera.
