Duplex scanning 8028e

I can't scan duplex anymore with my new purchase of HP 8028e. My old was a 9010 and there is no option to select 2-sided. I went to upload the HP Smart and it says it is the latest version and does not need an update. I can't figure out how to print duplex with this new printer 8029e

True - the OfficeJet Pro 90xx and the OfficeJet Pro 91xx series support automatic 2-sided scan.

This printer is a step down from the 9000 series.

The OfficeJet Pro 8020 printer series does not support automatic 2-sided scan.

Be careful -- the printer you have is an older (discontinued model) --

Be aware that should you "upgrade", the new OfficeJet Pro 8120 / 8130 series of printers do NOT support automatic 2-sided scan.   You need to go all the way to the discontinued OfficeJet Pro 9010/ 9020 or the new OfficeJet 9120 / 9130 models.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 All-in-One EasyStart Printer Setup Software – Offline Use Only 

If / When asked, opt for the Full Driver / Full Software to be installed.

If using a printer USB cable, connect the cable when asked to do so, near the end of the installation process.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and sign in.
