Hello, after setting up my new hp envy printer and installing the universal scan software, i thought i can find "scan to computer" on the printers diplay.

But i have only the choice between scan to email or scan to cloud .

What went wrong or what have i to do to manage this issue?

It looks like the "Scan to Computer" option isn't appearing on your HP Envy 6520e printer, which can happen if the feature isn't enabled on your computer. Here’s how to fix it:

 

1. Enable "Scan to Computer" in HP Smart or HP Printer Assistant

  • Open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant on your Windows 11 PC.
  • Navigate to Scan Settings and look for Manage Scan to Computer.
  • Click Enable Scan to Computer and check the box for Automatically start Scan to Computer when I log on to Windows.

 

2. Restart Your Printer & Computer

  • Power off your printer and unplug it for 30 seconds.
  • Restart your computer and then turn the printer back on.

 

Once enabled, the option should appear on your printer’s display. Let me know if you need further assistance!
