Fax not functioning

Officejet Pro 8620 Fax Failure: "Unable to send or receive faxes"

Posting again in hopes of getting a response.

Product:  HP Officejet Pro 8620

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Officejet 8620 comes up with "Unable to send or receive faxes" when attempting ot send fax. Settings through the fax menu results in locked by administrator. Going through general settings allows fax to be set to default, however that does nothing. Every other feature works fine from printer. Phoneline has a dial tone and a dsl filter. Used to work just fine, one day just quit working.

I have gone into settings and "reset fax to default." Cannot print fax test page.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Not sure what could be the issue but you can try Mobile Fax via the HP Smart app (can fax out but cannot receive Fax)
