Fax print notification - yes on outbound, no on inbound?

We need print notification on outbound faxes but do not want them on inbound faxes.

I do not see a setting to select *only* outbound, please advise.

I do believe you are right - I do not find fax confirmation setup that you describe in the User Guide.

If the setting is available and the printer is on the network, you would likely find it in the Embedded Web Server (EWS).

HP Enterprise Embedded Web Server (EWS)

A quick check shows the EWS provides "Fax Reports" information (Page 20) - I do not find a way to separate / report on the type of fax activity.

The setting could be hiding somewhere, though, in my experience, this type of feature is not hidden and is, in fact, clearly stated.

I am wondering who would want a printed notification of the fax every time one comes in.   The printed fax itself this notification enough for us. 

This was not an issue for our old printer the trustee m4345  so I'm wondering why they would add a 'feature' like this.

We need printed notification of all outbound, perhaps there is another way to get this?

I was being clever and thinking it could go to the e-mail address for the printer itself  but I'm sure we'd get one on all received as well.   Sigh.
