Faxing multiple pages from platten on ENVY 7800

Instructions say to fax multiple pages from document feeder and single page from platen. My old HP allowed me to scan a page on platen, press OK and scan another page, multiple times, and then press BLACK or COLOR and send it all. There are times that things you want to fax will not go through the document feeder. There is an ADD button on the printer control panel. Is this for what I want to do? I find no mention of it in the instructions. I don't want to send multiple faxes to send a few pages from platen. I am talking about sending direct from ENVY 7800, not from computer. Thanks for any help.

Yes you can use the Scanner Glass to scan or Fax multiple pages but you will need to put one document at at time and scan then add the other document and scan then fax
