Product: HP DeskJet Ink Advantage Ultra 2529 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Linux

My HP 2529 scanner results with background colors of different shades of dirty yellow. Once in a while the background color will be as it should. I have tried restarting printer, restarting scan and stopping scan .  I use a Debian 11 operating system which does not produce a problem with a HP 3700 scanner I have. Could this be a bad light element?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.
