We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP 3830 printer will scan and copy in both color and black inks, but it will not print.

When I send an item to print it spits out a blank piece of paper with nothing on it - neither a Word Doc nor a PDF prints with content, just a blank page.

The cartridges are new HP cartridges. 
I have removed all HP software from the mac laptop, rebooted and reinstalled software from the HP site. 
I need to print and can find no way to get it to do just that.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand the printer is printing blank pages. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

How is the printer connected to the MAC?

While printing, do you see the content in the print preview or is it blank?

Try printing from a web browser and check if that prints.

 

For now, let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  2. Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

  3. Check if this works fine.
