I'd be glad to help you! 

 

here are some questions to help narrow down the issue with your HP 3835 scanner:

 

  • When you attempt to scan, does the printer display any error messages, or does the scanning process start but fail to complete?
  • Are you using the HP Smart app, or another scanning software, or trying to scan directly from the printer’s control panel?
  • Has the scanner ever worked successfully, or is this the first time you've experienced this issue?
  • Are you connecting to the printer via USB, Wi-Fi, or another method?
  • Have you recently updated your computer’s operating system or the HP drivers/software?
