We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

1) I print a word document.

 

2) I scan (flatbed, not ADF) the print of the word doc and print it (tried all permutations and combinations in settings, DPI, background, PDF quality etc)

 

3) I use the "copy" function and take a photostat copy of the document printed from MS Word.

 

The print quality in step 3 ("copy" function) is nearly the same as the print of the word document.

 

The print quality of the scanned document is terrible.


Would anyone know what settings the printer is set to by default, for the "copy" function?

 

All the above steps are on the same MFP426
