I am using this printer/scanner for a few years.

Recently my computer cannot connect to Scan documents.
I can print, but not scan.
Tried deleting and reinstalling the drivers - didn't help.

Disconnected my Anti-Virus - didn't help.

NOT CONNECTING TO PRINTER.png

Try the May 2022 full feature driver for the  4610 Officejet

If the scanner still does not work then try a 3rd party solution

It is not cheap and I have heard that obtaining a keygen to bypass the license will get a trojan.

I downloaded the May 2022 full feature driver.

 

Still cannot scan from my computer.

Are there any error messages?  

Does anything start to move on the printer?

 

After installing the full feature driver package, click the windows key and select all apps and find HP.


Look for HP Scan.

If HP scan is not present then use HP Smart.

get HP Smart from the Microsoft store if needed.

HP Smart does not connect to scan. 

But it does print.

How can I get HP Scan to work?
