Hi @Mattd777,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing a scan issue with your HP DeskJet 4650 Printer, but it continues to print without problems. Here are some potential solutions you can try:

Check Wireless Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your wireless network. You can do this by checking the wireless status light on the printer. A solid blue light indicates a connected status.

Reboot Devices:

  • Restart your router, printer, and computer. This can help resolve any connectivity issues. Turn off each device and then turn them back on in this order: router, printer, and then computer.

Update Printer Software:

Enable Wireless Scanning:

  • If you're using Windows, ensure that wireless scanning is enabled in the HP software. From the Start menu on your computer, go to All Programs > HP > [Your Printer Model], and check "Manage Scan to Computer."

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
