Hi ! My Photosmart 5510 stopped to scan via wifi. Both directions fail:
HP->PC, also PC->HP
If I connect via USB, everything is fine.
What I did:
Removed all HP software
Reinstalled latest All-in-One Software
Removed the printer from windows Printer management several times.
Reinstalled the printer
Run Scan Doctor 5.3.1 - reports no error on USB, reports driver error via wifi
Disabled all AV,Firewall etc.

I found the cause of the issue by myself.
One of the HPCommunicator files crashed every minute and luckily with a dump+windbg, I was able to find that the crash AND in extension the scan error, are caused by a faulty driver of a webcam.
After removing the driver, the scan via wifi worked again.

Hi @Warlord711
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you
Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.
Let's try and uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.
--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
--->Select your HP printer.
--->Select Uninstall.
--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
--->Click on the Drivers tab.
--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
--->Select OK.
--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
--->Close Devices and Printers.
And then reinstall the printer full-featured drivers from software and drivers page
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
