When using HP smart the scanner start to scan and then stops

  • Restart HP Smart: Close HP Smart and reopen it. Sometimes restarting the software can resolve temporary glitches.
  • Restart Scanner: Turn off the scanner, wait for a few moments, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes reset the scanner and resolve any internal issues.
  • Check for Software Updates: Ensure that both your scanner's firmware and HP Smart software are up to date. HP often releases updates to fix bugs and improve performance.
