HP 9015 Disappointing colour/color printing and copying

This brand-new machine with new cartridges is producing terrible results. I'm close to returning it. Red colours in the original come out a sickly orange in the copy. I don't want to have to tweak setting in support software; I want the machine to accurately reproduce the image. It has "pro" in the model name, so it should produce professional results.

 

Is there a way to get this machine to produce better results without spending precious time playing with software, or is this going back to the store?
