HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer. It has worked fine for a couple of years. Just recently when I try to scan it gives me a message that it can not find the device. It is connected with a USB cord. It prints and copies fine but no fix seems to work for scanning. I have used the HP fix doctor, uninstalled and reinstalled the apps and tried many other fixes but nothing works. It even stumps Geek squad.

Hi @Mark478,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

Resetting the printer can force some types of scanners to calibrate, which might fix the problem.

Remove any items from the scanner glass and automatic document feeder (ADF), then close the scanner lid.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into a wall outlet.

NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Let me know if this helps.
