Product: HP OfficeJet 9025
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I want to scan multiple photos with each being saved to its own jpeg file. I know that older scanners can perform this task (fewer drivers), but I am wondering if this issue has been fixed. If not, what can be done to remedy this issue that was created by the addition of more drivers? (I read that the use of 20+ drivers nulls this performance of multi-scan, separate files.)

@Tweacher, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

If you're using the HP Easy Scan app, make sure you uncheck the Save all items to a single file checkbox.

Hi,

I would also add, make sure to select the Crop To option in HP Easy Start to bound Items, the Type as Image, and the Source as Flatbed Glass. make sure to place the pictures on the Flatbed Glass with enough spacing between each image:

 

Once completing the scan save it and the result will be separate items for each image as a file.
