Since a month my scanner, scans the first part of the scanner instead of the whole a4

it started doing this when using the multiple feed, but now it does it too with the flatbed.

I wouldn't have to much issue with this , but the bottom part of the a4 is lost or distorted

 

I'm not using the scanner alot, is there something i should clean or is there a way to recalibrate the scanner? i couldn't find anything of this in the menu or webinterface.

 

I have the most recent firmware, and the issue remained.

operating system doesn't really matter, i'm using the scanner on the printer to email.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting scanning issues, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
