Product: HP Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased the HP Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw and when I use the document feeder to scan a simple 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of paper, the document scans to pdf at the size of 26.53 x 34.37 inches. Please Help. Thank you in advance!

I would like to help

 

Please ensure the printer has the latest Firmware

Next try restoring the printer back to defaults

 

1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe until the Setup menu displays. Touch the Setup icon to open the menu.

 

2. Scroll to and select the Service menu.

 

3. Scroll to and select Restore Defaults, and then touch OK.
