Product: HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn

Hi HP Community 

I have a printer HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn. The error occurs when accessing the scan option

> scan 

> Menu Scan

> Scan to Network folder

> select Folder 

>Scan

> returns back to the main menu screen

 

I have attempted to Update the firmware and hard reset the printer however the error still occurs. My only option would be to Factory reset the printer and reconfigure again. Is there any other solutions HP community can help me with.

Have you confirmed that the scan to folder location is still accessible and the username and password are still valid? Windows updates can sometimes cause files shares to be disabled and is the most common issue that I run across.
