Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended

We purchased this HP Color LaserJet MFP M776 printer after updating the firmware to the latest version available on the website (5.9.0.2).
Now, even when logging in as administrator, if I try to access the network section, it asks for authentication.
But I can access the other sections normally.
I tried contacting support, but they couldn't help me.

starting with FS 5.9.0.2, for European market products, you will not be required to have an embedded web server admin password set. If you already had one it should not have changed. If you did not set a password, you will have to perform a partial clean which will delete ALL USER SETTINGS on the machine. For European models with 5.9.0.2 you will be prompted to add a password before you will be able to do any setup on the device.

If you refer to the readme file for the firmware upgrade it explains how to enter the pre-boot menu, then look for partial clean under the administrator section.
