Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I need a new mylar strip for my printer but i can't seem to find the strip online.

My documents show stripes when i scan and send them to my email.

I have already tried cleaning my scaner but it does not work.

Underneath the questions i have:

  • Are the strips that are availible online universal? 
  • Can i remove the strip and clean it manuelly?
  • Do i need to cut the mylar in the shap of my strip?

The ADF mylar strip should never be removed, it cant be purchased as a replacement part from HP, you only need to clean it regularly.

HP does offer a replacement PN B3Q10-00060 or you can purchase this https://www.ebay.com/itm/274957252924
