HP Deskjet 4120e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I recently purchased an HP Deskjet 4120e, but when I try to scan using the ADF, the resulting image doesn't show the top 2mm of the original document, I can post comparison pictures if needed.

My drivers are updated, firmware included.

I tried many different programs (NAPS2, HP Smart and Paint).

I tried different documents, and many different page sizes, US Letter, A4 and custom ones included.

I resetted the scanner, plugging it off for a few minutes and then on.

Do you know of any solution for this, or is it simply defective?

Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you change the printer to accept Legal size document?  That should cater for the 2 mm cutoff.

This example shows how to change to accept Legal size document via EWS:

Hope that helps!
