I have a Officejet Pro 8620 and have been successfully utilizing its Digital Fax Archive to my iCloud email account for many years. All of a sudden today it stopped working. I ran the wizard and confirmed the info inputed was accurate as it has been for years, clicked the Test button and got this, "The server rejected the user credentials used for authentication. Please enter correct credentials and try again."  Ive double checked all the info, re inputed it over and over. Shut printer off and on as well as computer, and it still won't work. What happened and how do I fix?  A couple years ago I utilized the app specific password, and this did work then, - but its not fixing the issue now.

Hi,

Generally, please try accessing iCloud via Incognito mode by typing the password and not using any saved password value, to deny any possible user error there.

 

Also, please try to revoke any older app password and create a fresh and single one and check if that may make any difference:
