Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. I'm able to scan from the glass and have a preview show up, but when I choose to use the document feeder, the preview button goes away; it scans from the feeder and then that's it - it doesn't give me an option to save or preview. It goes back to the "Add your content to the scanner and select scan to get started". I spent 3 hours having to scan page by page because the feeder wasn't doing what it used to. I've updated all my firmware and the app. Help please!!

Which App are you using for scanning? HP Smart App or Easy Scan or Image Capture?

 

Try with Easy scan or Image Capture: https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/ish_2275901-2074064-16

 

Ensure that the Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the Mac software:

My Mac software is up to date. I use HP Smart App; I downloaded Easy Scan and then my computer kept shutting down automatically. Fix for that was deleting the Easy Scan app.
