Hi All,

I have scanning capabilities with my printer/scanner combo.  When I try to scan, the documents go through and I receive an email that I received a scanned document however, nothing is attached.  I've updated the drivers, gone into Windows Imaging and reset, restarted ,etc.  I was able to scan 1 page and received it however once I scanned 10+ pages, received nothing.

Help!

Hi @Rosaura20

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "Scan to email-no attachment" issue.

I suppose this an issue with file size if the file size of the scanned document is more than 10MB then this could occur.

10MB is considered safe for the maximum size of an email. If you have a large document or there are a lot of pictures, it may be best to scan to the computer first. You will have the ability to reduce the quality (file size) or to use a third-party program to compress or Zip the file. Then you can send the document via email.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
