Double-sided scanning on the HP LJ PRO MFP 3102FDW does not arrange pages correctly. My old Office Jet Pro 6960 used to do that without problems. What am I doing wrong? 
Yes, I have installed all the latest software.

I understand you are facing issue with duplex printing.

 

Please try the below suggestion"

 

1. Printer settings Duplexer:
Search Windows for 'devices', and then click the Devices and Printers control panel setting in the results.

Right-click the icon for your printer model, and then
click Device Settings tab
Installable Options > Duplexer: installed

If not, change to installed.


2. Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory:

 

Enter the Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.

Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

Suggestion 1 was not necessary, but

Suggestion 2 "Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK" I could not follow this suggestion since the only value available is "Duplex unit: installed". Besides, I understand that my device will not do fully automatic double-sided scanning, but still should arrange pages in the correct order after I have re-inserted the pages into the scanner. This does not happen.
